What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Good a place as any for an update.

Things went well. They tried to do the angio threw my wrist but my arteries were too small. So they went through the groin. What seems to be the problem is I got small arteries that like to spasm. That was causing the the chest pain.
I am going home on meds for life.
Later today they are going to do an ultrasound as they did find one spot on the aorta that was a bit wide.
As it stands now, I am going home tomorrow.

We had three big trees fall overnight with the wind storm. I picked up an 18" bar for my 19 year old 025. I popped the muffler and checked the screen and piston and both looked good.

The owner at the saw shop said my 025 is a good basic saw. I was looking at the MS261 and MS291. The 261 is a little more than I want to spend. I mentioned how some folks were not very impressed with the 029/MS290. He said the 291 is a very good saw and has few complaints.

I'm going to give the 025 a try tomorrow on the big hemlock. The 291 is out of stock now, so if the 18" bar works on the 025, I'll be good for now.

 

Here's the cake I made for my wife. Strawberry cake and white frosting that I added some grenadine to to make it pink.



Ribeye was grilled to perfection, so were the mushrooms and cauliflower. We had baguette and apple to dip in the fondue as well.

A bottle of prosecco to boot.


My wife says thank you for the birthday wishes!!

Meds for life doesn't sound good to me.
( and I once had a "meds for life" scrip but once the problem was rectified and I can recognize the symptoms I've been able to only take the scrip on an "as needed" basis, lucky me. )
I hope the meds have no/minor side effects/misery attributed to them.

 

Apparently my arteries spasm and that was causing my chest pain. These meds are suppose to help that. I also have very small arteries.

 

"Meds for life" has allowed both of us to be still here so it sometimes a very necessary thing. You are fortunate to only have to take them on a "as need" basis.

 

Sure beats the alternative!
