I came to the house about an hour ago. Wind is nasty but not yet as bad as forecast. Hope it doesn't get worse.
Good decision. Neighbor of mine about half mile away just had a silver maple come down in their back forty. Walked over and looked at it. Was surprised because it’s a healthy tree. Wind is pretty intense right now. Enjoy your day.
I agree! I spent the morning outside, removing leaves from the gutters. And a few other this and that. All ahead of forecasted wind and rain storm, later tonight. Currently enjoying an adult beverage. The wood stove is throwing some nice heat. Comfy. Sunday dinner is cooking. Life is good in these crazy times.
I will be doing the same whenever I get in tonight. Wind was gusting to 40mph & it was about 40* this morning when I set the auger. I have been cold all day after climbing the bin to open the lid & chain the auger down.
Awesome post. I just got out of the tree. Actually had a great hunt for not shooting. Wind like this lets you get into places that normally you can’t. I took the climber tonight, saw 3 bucks and one doe.

That looks so nice right now. I've been out cleaning up some branches and CSS in some other wood. That wind just cuts right though ya.
