Awe sorry you had to go thru it too. You miss them so much and then miss them some more. Thanks for your kind words It was most hard to know he was in pain and I didn't really see how much so. We just didn't want him to suffer and go thru treatments that may or may not work. The oncologist said he wouldn't have a good quality of life even if treated so we didn't want to feel selfish to him. So hard...thanks much for your sympathy
Really sorry to hear this, many of the members have faced this situation since i've been a member, and i have, myself. Just think about all the really good / no GREAT times you all have had with this friend. Its tough to have this happen, there's a bunch of really great people here, that actually really feel your pain. Once again, really sorry for your loss. take care. You and your family made the right decision.
Thank you..its strange. Its like I wake up and expect him sleeping next to us and he's not there.. we hope Emma is with u a very very long time..
So sorry. I had to put our Kobe down in March or April, and we still miss him. I think of him nearly every day. Your Sebastian looks like the stray we adopted in the 70's. Dad had a medical situation that was helped by a lot of walking, and she practically saved his health by always being there for him. She wore herself out for him. Sorry for you, in a very heartfelt way.
So sorry to hear about 'Bastien . Been there done that, unfortunately only a couple of months ago with our 4 yr old lab William, when we were told he had end stage kidney failure. Then again we were told that our 10.5 yr old lab Badger after he had lymphoma in a mass on his jaw. They removed the mass, and after meeting with the oncologist, he was given 2 -6 months. We treat every day like a gift with Badger. Sorry for rambling, just know that our family is thinking of yours.
Just a few good memories with him. He could be hilarious at times. Looks like he had a bad night right here...lol... He had already lost weight by then. I'm just lovable... I've been good, Santa, I promise
