We had led lights put in at work a few years ago and my eyes just don't care for the industrial ones, have them at home and don't mind them. Anyone else noticed any issues with big led lighting?

Depends on the quality of the lamp. the building owner put some in here they are a bit harsh(8ft fl replacements) but my twin lamp units( 4ft ) at home are fine in the basement . I do not know the spec of the one here at my shop. Ones at home are 5000lm in the bright white spectrum- Menards apx $29 per unit.

Right where I want to be.
I got a couple of those this past summer and they were just under $17.
I really would like 3 more for the shop, so this might be the perfect opportunity to do that for a much better price.
Thanks for the heads up yooperdave

I can use one right away but for that price, it'll be two. When I go to the store and find the display, I'll probably leave with four! Yeah.

Thanks Yoops, one to replace the hanging lamp (w/chain) crude laundry room light, and the other WWW can put somewhere. Possibly the pellet furnace room that will be done someday (ran out of time, tough place to do with winter temps here).

The ones advertised are supposed to be "daylight" and 5000 lumen. I'll have to make sure when I go that I get what is advertised.

Interesting, I bought these below (5000 daylight) for our main bathroom, actually posted on here after complaining for a couple years that the room was dim and how all our can lights burn out within months (it got $$$$$$ replacing them all the time) but was shocked. Never believed I would say it's too bright  And they are very white, not yellow.

That’s the ones I got... they are about the same color as my fluorescents ..
I also think they exaggerated the lumen output some...

I picked up two this evening and hooked one up to replace a fluorescent. Big difference and all bright white light....no yellow tint at all. The sale on these didn't start until 5:00 local time at walmart according to the ad. Here is a pic of the box to help compare what you got.

Yup... same ones. They just are not as white as my other led lights... don’t care for the pattern also. I am kinda picky on my lights though.

BINGO, got 4 of them today, hooked up one in the middle of the garage, one above my loading bench, and one will go in the shop so i can see a lot better while sharpening my chains!! The light to my eyes, is a ''cleaner'' light, not a diffused type of light, i really like them, not sure what i'll use the last one for, but, one thing they were worth the money. On a different note, my wife saw a store employ ram a pickup intentionally with a shopping cart. The pickup owner got out, and the employee took a weak swing at him. Then he took off running through the parking lot. Cops were called, doubt the guy will have a job tomorrow.

Those look like they have the tubes for lights. Look like a better light distribution.
