Was outside just a while ago, huge, big black, and heavy white, clouds out there. I spotted something WAY, WAY up just below the clouds. Grabbed my binoculars and sure enough White head, White tail feathers and a huge bird. A ADULT BALD EAGLE soaring beautifully among the clouds. I take it as a sign of HOPE!! NEVER GIVE UP!!

BEAUTIFUL, i'd love to be able to work with birds like that. One day at work, we were up in the mountains, there was a big storm coming in. There were 3 adult bald eagles in the sky. 2 of them were fighting, the 3rd was just cruising through the air, waiting. Eventually the best of the 2 chased the other male off. Then the 2 remaining flew up together very high, then locked together and fell probably 1,000 ft before breaking apart. They had mated, in free fall. It was the most amazing thing i've ever seen. Especially with the huge clouds as a backdrop. I counted that as a once in a life time experience. We have quite a few bald eagles where we live, just like today, seeing that ONE huge bird in the sky really got me thinking, ''there IS HOPE'' make the best of every day!

We have bald eagles flying around here all the time but that video clip was awesome. Every once in a while, one will cruise over the house and down the hill in front of us. You really get to see the flight pattern they have.

We too are blessed with eagles but don't see them daily.

Right where I want to be.
Saw one yesterday flying southward along the power line next to our place. Saw it first right over the house.
I'm sure it was checking for something to eat. I like to try watching (dang future firewood, AKA trees, get in the way) as they just glide along on the air currents.

Many more eagles here then when I was growing up, some you can get fairly close to once in a while, their size is impressive.

No shortage of eagles like there was back in the 60's.
