I need some quick advise. Got a chance to pick up some LaCretes for cheap. I think I remember everyone loved them. I read Dpopps review and he liked them. I need to go get a ton tomorrow before its gone. Wont have a chance to test burn a few bags so lets see what the folks say. Thanks in advance.

I have no problem buying them and would be very surprised if you didn't like them. Good pellet

I am down in NC visiting my daughter. That rain was crazy. Water running off the mountains is wild. No damage near her place near Charlotte.

What area? I'm up in the Denver area. My younger daughter lives near Pineville.
Lots of rain, but otherwise OK.

We came down I-77. The culverts, brooks and streams north of Statesville were running full tilt....

Oh, it was easier than that and no mess in the house. Didn't realize I hadn't posted the final results - thanks for the reminder

After getting the two screws for the hinge, finished putting the second unit together, unloading everything from the old E-Center, I moved the old entertainment center out into the center of the room. Got the A/V units set up under the TV and hooked up the electronics.
    AV centers (both) under tv.jpg

I WAS going to try to get the old E Center out onto the front lawn in case a person driving by might decide they needed it. However, for a really well put together E-Center, it had one flaw that pushed me (and it) over the edge - the supports were only on 3 sides. This didn't affect how it stood up on a floor, but pushing over a raised threshold and getting down stairs was an issue - especially since only1 person was handling the 100+ pounds. The E-center leaned back (almost took out the storm door before I realized it was falling that way), so I just balanced it long enough to give it an end-over-end shove out the door.

Pulling out all the slabs that came apart from the middle of the Rhodies was a pain, but it is all loaded up in the truck and going to the dump today.
