Or really anywhere that you tap sugar Maple trees and make real maple syrup. It all tastes pretty much the same if it's real.

Really not much different than deer. It's just a big deer sized marsupial. Imagine what people think about moose that get hit by vehicles? :bug::handshake:

Hitting a moose around here usually ends up bad for the driver. The car takes the legs out and the body slams on the cabin.

Exactly. I used to live in Maine. They are so tall that the legs clear the hood and the body lands on/in the a pillars and windshield. Really really bad for the occupants as well as the moose. Scary stuff.

That said, there's been more moose and elk in Wisconsin than there has been in around 100 years or so. This elk was just here in southeastern Wisconsin. Elk seen in southeast Wisconsin might be first since reintroduction

There's actually an elk season here this year, but I think that's a little premature. More like the Wisconsin DNR wants the hunters to do their work to get them more info on the herd.

Sad story, but that just shows how dangerous it can be.

I saw a bull moose ram a leaf peeper's car from NY after they honked at the adolescent moose that was walking close to the car up in Grafton Notch. I was parked 20 yards behind them. After I saw they were ok, and driving away, I took off too. Idiots....:loco:

Set the parking brake on the truck today and it didn't hold....after quick inspection found passenger axle seal is leaking and oiled up the parking brake shoes.

Never replaced axle seals before. Might take this one in.

Most people don’t try to truck sap across the lake this far north. Too expensive so in short I don’t know:eek:

Love real Maple Syrup. I'll buy it from local producers first, then from other outlets as long as I know it is the real thing. Same thing goes for honey.

Well, according to state rule, it's definitely not VT syrup. More like ny syrup, but vt sap.;)
