Me too and I don’t know anyone that got sick. Only hear this guy talked to that guy and he might have had it. Big scary.

If the do the 4-6 week shutdown say bye bye economy. Let me guess “essential” employees can work during this and get screwed yet again while everyone sits at home getting paid. Oh wait, they’re doing that now

Comorbidity I’m sure. Not the primary cause.

My wife is a CCU nurse. She's lost a bunch of patients from it, not all old, not all pre-existing condition... Very very stressful time for our nurses and health care workers. She has to deal with it daily and all the local hospitals are currently in divert, which means they are all full and have to send them elsewhere.

I know several people who have had it. Each person is affected differently. I’m one of the lucky ones that get to go to work during the lockdowns. I work on CT/PET systems in hospitals. My sincere gratitude toward all the nurses, my wife included.

My barbers dad (formerly my barber) died of it in a nursing home...and we know several people that have had it...most are fine now, only a couple that I know of were in the hospital at all.

My business was up about 30% through COVIDSCAM-19
    Was working 80-90 hours/week
I’m about shot,,,,, literally the most wiped out I’ve ever been. GF been wanting to quit job for quite awhile so I hired her to take care of the bookwork and office duties and expand part of the business . Taking 1st Sunday off since February so I can rest up for my DOT physical Monday .
People here are fed up with all this BS. Masks are optional. No one really enforces it.
Essential really means : to work twice as hard for less $.
If there’s a lockdown this winter my prices are going up.

One has to ask themself how they plan to get their groceries and other essential goods if everyone is staying at home? Are the grocery stores supposed to magically fill themselves? Are the delivery trucks going to drive themselves? People got really selfish the first go round and the essential people got more and more upset. If it happens again I can see a Civil War starting in this country. People can only take so much. Way too many people sitting at home pretending to work and getting paid.

Yep, call it a scam, call it Bullchit...call it whatever you want, Let's all agree that we need to thank all the healthcare workers that put their lives on the line to help us get thru this!

Folks vulnerable to Covid should stay home and the rest of us should go back to normal. Let Covid run it’s course.

You can grumble from a safe space, because our public health system will never let that happen. It would lead to comeplete overload and collapse of the nation's hospitals.

And you know this how? If the vulnerable folks stay home what’s the problem? Most folks who get it don’t even know it.

Yes our sales were way up this summer
lets also not forget all the others who have to work, like grocery store people, gas and oil drivers( :)) the big box store people, Walmart, etc. so all the people that get to stay home have something to do !!!

The problem is who determines what’s vulnerable? Large majority will claim that and want to stay home
