Looks like some rain, some ice and some snow in the UP. Sounds normal for this time of year.

42* this AM. Up 10* from yesterday. Burning Doug Fir and a bunch of those huge chunks of DF bark to clean up a corner of the stacks. Sister came over yesterday for a trunk load of wood for her fire pit. Brought oatmeal and raisin cookies and went home with home made bacon, chorizo and sage breakfast sausage.

Thanks. We have only had about 16 inches total in the valley. Above 6500 feet got quite a bit more. My brother ripped up some tendons in his ankle, so I've been rushing to get him his wood in. I've managed to get him four cord of dead standing fir. I'm hoping to still be able to get up high to bring him in two more before the snow gets deep. May have to play hookie Friday to get him those two cord.

Woke up to 5” of fresh snow this morning. Had to fire up the Lopi in the home gym before my workout. Did bench press at 315 pounds and squats at 445 pounds. It was 36 F degrees in the gym before I lit the stove. Burned some shoulder season aspen. It was 66 F an hour later. Good start to the day!

Went from 73 to 60 so far with rain. Supposed to keep dropping. Fired the boiler back up on Poplar & Walnut, maybe thin final light up this time?

Freezing rain gave everything a nice coating of ice outside. Everything!

Starting to snow a little bit now; I'll have to shovel tomorrow morning.

Good stuff brother!!! I’m pretty confident in saying a legit paused 315+ bench is a feat of strength less than 1 percent of the population will ever achieve. Was this free weights or a smith machine? Of course you have the “when I was in high school” guys who have twig arms and a 9 month pregnant gut lol. Anyone who actually trains consistently can ask a couple simple questions and instantly know they’re full of chit

    23. Feels like 11. Looks like maybe 3" waiting to be moved around outside. Driveway, deck, walkways.

That sounds nasty. Good on you for helping.

Seems most years we find someone who needs help and then we wonder why more won't pitch in to help. Not that way here though. We are swamped with true hoarders who want and do help!
