Black Walnut and Red Oak Score!

The younger one is building a house on the property and the older gentleman twas cutting up black walnut to make furniture and such. He left me a trailer load of black walnut and said I could have all the downed red oak I could haul. Lots of wood here! I had to cut the large oak tree up in manageable sections and I’ll be back for it tomorrow. There are three more like it oluse the trunk that stands 12’ or so. Here’s what I managed this morning. As Cigarsmokingzombie says “wooooooooood!”

    The problem is getting those suckers to land correctly on the splitter base!
