Not having a tractor or skid steer or anything else with forks is there anyway that you can use a kiln? Is it worth trying to diy a smLl one? Maybe be able to use a pallet jack in.
A logger I buy slab wood from built a few solar kilns that are mobile. They are A frame hog houses basically. He has black plastic wrapped around a frame and the ends open up. There are wheels on the ends. With the ends opened up he can move the little kiln off on stack and over another. Shut the doors and let the sun heat up the lumber. Basically is a large chicken tractor covered in black plastic. He says it works really well. Shortens his drying time at no extra cost beyond the build cost.
