    Heard a terrible noise Sunday night while in bed, bad enough but could have been worse !     Not sure about no damage, but it certainly could have been worse.. Looks like you cleaned it up pretty quickly..

    Its like I always say, some trees are evil and need to be burned.
    Too bad it did the damage it did, but good to see that it didn't flatten the house.

    I'm seeing (hopefully minor) roof/edge trim damage, a couple siding pieces missing and two bent downspouts.
    Anything else ?
    Looks like the downed tree may have been dispatched tout de suite.
    Hope it's valuable firewood. Looks like possible white oak of some sort.

    Ugg. Cant like this. This is definitely a home insurance claim, right?

    At least it wasn't worse.

    I had a decent sized branch hit my house from this last wind storm too. I'll start a separate thread.

    Cut it up in long lengths and moved with tractor forks. Had a fellow to come look and he’s going to give an estimate, glad it was no worse !!

    Glad no one was injured, but what a lousy way to wake up. Many better ways to get fire wood than that. Hope the repairs go smooth & quick.
