I started burning in mid September but only burned 4 bags by the end of that month. For October, I burned an additional 17 bags, mostly in the P43 since the ground hasn't gotten cold enough to affect the basement too much, plus this time of year the basement is kept as 65-66* (I up it later ). Total for this season so far, 21 bags. The only time I used over 20 bags by this time was 2018/19, and that year I used 6 tons (the most ever)
I still have some of them left. I dig my way down to them at the end of a season, no longer need heat, then they get covered back up.
Did some work in my shop the other day. 1 bag so far... Hope I can hold out in the house for a couple more weeks or so. Dan
Already passed the pellet count for October as I dumped in bag 5 before work this morning. Those 20ºF nights had the beast eating them like they were Halloween nibbles.
33 bags since 1st burn october 20. Using room auto daily for 1st time has slowed consumption down a bit. Yes i have a spare harman ignitor in the wings in case but dont exspect it to go this season.
