    Getting ready to move some pine from the stacks to the porch, as well as some chunky uglies.

    Got some pine for shoulder season and restarts - never thought twice about mixing it with oak or ash.

    I will often throw some pine on top of some hardwood to get the fire nice and let the hardwood keep it longer.
    When I first started burning, I was looking for wood "recipes" to mix and match for different conditions. There are some good combos, but at the end of the day, dry is king.
