Scored 3 truckloads of silver maple. One load, not shown, is all uglies & long pieces that will be cut to size and straightened. Which is cool 'cause I get to use a chainsaw to make stove-size pieces and chunky monkeys.... heheh. IMG_20140712_183350_987-1.jpg

Every little bit adds up, 3 truck loads is a good score, the chunky monkeys !!! work good for starting up a cold stove, and for shoulder season

Here is my little bit for today.

    0713141306.jpg

We've rented out our vacation place a couple of times, and one of the renters left this in the garage. It is freshly cut and split red oak. I bet they had fun getting it to burn.

Not much, but all I had to do was carry it outside and split some of the big ones.
