what kind of tree is this???

I have 2 of these to cut down for my little sister. What are they? Not the best pic but it has a long stem with small leaflets and stringy pink "flowers". They both also have a short main trunk with multiple shoots off them.

 

Looks like mimosa to me.

 

I think so to. They typically don't live long down here pretty weak, wind takes um out.

we have a chocolate one
it tried to grow like a bradford pear with a short trunk and a crotch full of branches but I cut them all off but one and forced it up and out like a palm tree/umbrella pine

 

How are they to burn?
