Old inner tube works too...just cut it, knot one end closed, fill, knot other end closed...most tire shops will give you old tubes...but depending on their clientel makeup, not all tire shops see tubes regularly anymore.

I bet that will be a plowing beast! I used to have a Yamaha Rhino and I was amazed by how much snow it could handle. That thing will plow circles around a Rhino

Yes it will, I really like the Rhino but the RTV is a heavier machine.

Today was the first time I plowed parts of the driveway with the RTV, the most snow we had in certain parts of our driveway was 4-5 inches. There is a total of 240 pounds of sand in the back which should help some.

I think it shifts different with the plow on, we'll see if it changes or stays the same. The second picture is a new walking trail I made for the wife during the summer/fall.

That is one awesome UTV! Do you have chains for it? You may need them.

Yes we do, they'll definitely add more traction.

Jack Straw , it also helps if you remember to put it in 4 wheel drive when you're plowing in certain areas.

The wife drove the RTV for the first time with the plow on it today, she did very well driving it and handling the plow controls along with the shifting which can be tricky with the plow on. Once I put the chains on, it should push a lot of snow.

It was about 32 out today so it wasn't cold but after being in the RTV for five minutes, she shut the heat off.

Teaching her to plow with that is very smart, god forbid you get sick she may have to plow with it. I still need to teach my wife on the new tractor. That’s awesome that your wife is willing to plow with the Kubota! Happy new year to you and your wife.

The worst part of the ride was me, apparently I talk very loud when giving instructions. The reason we bought it was incase something happened to me, it would be easier for her to plow.

When the plow is raised on the front end of the RTV, it puts pressure on the linkage which can make it harder to shift, you can drop the plow and that takes care of the problem.

Happy New Year to you and your family too.

Stay safe, the positive cases are really taking off up here like most places.

I haven’t left our place in 10 days and I have no plans to go anywhere. I have so much I want to do at home that I have no desire to go anywhere.

We limit what we go out for but it's out there so we never know when you go shopping or even getting gas.

Since the multi - use trail is just down the road, when we get enough snow our small town will be packed, that's when the cases start rising in our town. We have five active cases at the moment.

With some rain, snow and possibly some wind coming in, I jumped in the X1100C and scraped down the driveway and then plowed a few new walking trails in the backyard.

I think nine inches was the highest total for snowfall that I saw for our area, I'm not sure if this will be some wet heavy snow or sugar snow.

It started raining last night around 7:30 p.m., when I looked outside just after 4:00 a.m. this morning we didn't have any snow so I went back to bed. When I woke up we had some very wet heavy snow with rain underneath.

I had always heard the RTV's can push snow so I started plowing with it in low gear and 4 wheel drive. I have about 240 or 300 pounds in the back and it handled everything. After I was done plowing the driveway, I used the Mahindra 4540 to push the banks back before they freeze solid with the colder weather coming in.

I still prefer the 4540 but we bought this just incase something happened to me so the wife can plow. Even though 90 percent of the time it shifted fine today, you still have that 10 percent it can be tricky.

I'll talk with the dealer this week and see if there is anything they can do.

We received another 4 inches of wet snow overnight so after plowing with the 4540 (I really wanted to move some snowbanks back before they freeze solid) I jumped in the RTV - X1100C and did some areas I missed. With the 240 pounds in the back and in four wheel drive it pushes that wet chit without a problem.

I plowed another three inches off the driveway with Karl later this afternoon. Tomorrow we could be in for some embedded snow squalls with the cold coming in so maybe that will give Karl more work.

We received another 1.5 to 2 inches of the white fluffy stuff overnight. I had planned on plowing out the area where we put in wood today so I warmed up Karl and did the driveway, the area where we put in wood and a bunch of trails around the house. That heater and thje CD player make it nice.

I'm glad I did it today, the windchills tomorrow could be - 25, Ironwood time.

yooperdave , it's Sergi's Pizza night, everything was okayed by the banker.

Backwoods Savage , I saw your post the other day that you used your tractor, how did it run?
