Good morning to all! Well my WV run was small enough to knock out in one day so got a day off.

Morning All. Just above freezing this morning. Got some yard clean up done yesterday in glorious sunshine. I think we are in for more sunshine today. Headed over to Mom's for a visit this afternoon.

Good morning all! Its gonna be another warm day here (high in the low 80s). Hopefully this is the last day that warm. I would like fall to stick around a while.

 

Rainy day today so will be working on getting more of the living room painted. I hate painting. Doing one room may take 3 or 4 days. Oh well...

 

Yes and no.
YES - I like the cooler, drier air.
NO - any day not needing extra heat, or AC, is a good day.

 

Good afternoon all. Had a good rain shower this morning. Lower 60s for temps.
Got our estimates back for the well. We are going with to get a new jet pump put in. They will be able to get that done the soonest. About $1800 for that. Next year we will look at tying the other well into ours.

Good point. Also these warm days with a nice breeze and very little humidity are great for next years wood stacks

weather is nice. Fishing is insane.

A friend and I figured out a pattern to the crappie that nobody else has discovered. The water temp is running about 10 degrees warmer than usual this time of year. The fish are sitting in thick grass in 7 feet of water staying cool. Drop a minnow above their nose and hang on. Everybody wants to know what we are doing but we leave too early for them to follow us. These old men down here are funny. They wanna know what you are doing and where you are going but would sell their first born to keep their hot spots secret. Fun game...

I have been nicknamed “Kentucky” by the locals, I guess because I wear bibs a lot.

I keep an eye on this thread to make sure everyone is safe and healthy.

Oh I did forget that Chaz had talked to tier 3 last night and they are sending me a new phone. Hopefully no more issues in that regard.
