Active Fuel management? I don't think this one came with it. Is that where it runs on 4 cylinders if it doesn't need 8? It doesn't have that.

The old trailblazer was about 15mpg. Seems to be the same.

It’ll get worse as you become familiar with the gas pedal. Nice truck ;)

It doesn't. It seems to be pretty rare. Even the 4x4 engagement is mechanical, on the floor.

YES ! I had a ‘99 2500 long box, short cab Silverado, 4x4 was rock solid. Didn’t burn wood at that stage of life and had a baby on the way,, I miss that truck weekly !

She's a beaut! Hopefully the PA police don't get on you about the dark window tint on front windows. It's probably legal as is in GA. I know it is in FL.

Sweet lookin truck. Would definitely agree with brenndatomu. Have been getting my 08 Sierra oil sprayed every year.
Amazing how many older rust free vehicles are in line when I go.

Can someone explain this oil spray/fluid film process. I have never heard of such and am interested.

For oil spray they literally spray the underneath, like painting, only with oil that is modified to stick better. They obviously try to avoid your exhaust and brakes, stuff like that.
Not sure about others, but our oil spray guy also drills the doors and panels so the insides can be done too...just like you would see an undercoat shop do.
Locally anyways, it's pretty cheap...$40 car, $60 full size truck.
