Smokey I won 3 plates 27 screws and a 4 inch pin. Awaiting hip replacement sooner than later. Trying to hit 50 first.

I missed that lottery, bad enough when the hip is pulled out the way it was. It didn't help that side had most of the stroke damage.

Take care and give it some time to heal and PT. It’s a long road. I was 3 1/2 months before I was allowed to bear any weight. Hopefully you are more lucky in that regard.

Did they make any changes to your BP meds to help with you balance?

Same here, but I had them pull the hardware after I was healed because it was bothering me a lot.

The Maine Medical surgical team cut my lisinopril dose in half but Martins Point wrote the scrip for the old dose I have access to the reduced dose and that is what I'm taking. So far bp readings have been fine. The hypo ones are now few and far between. Just so everyone knows my bp used to go hypo in the afternoon. My last roommate at Cedar's was trying to get used to compression socks as his bp went down whenever he stood.

They offer pain killers to help you work through the pain. This has nothing to do with bp medication or balance.

Some lessons learned, don't feed me iron supplements and the common pain pill Tylenol one will get you a trip to the Loo with a very grumpy constipated bear and the other make you a projectile vomit target.

    I am alive!:D
Just got a boatload of stuff going on.
Two of our kids both decided to sell there houses when the market was high.
So... therefore we are ending up with 6 adults, 3 kids, two dogs and a cat at our house!:hair:
    Wish me luck!

    Gary
