Just picked up my 28" b/c combo...got a big maple to tackle in the a.m..im pretty stoked to see how the 441c stock will pull this with a full comp rs
I bought a 25" to fit my 038M and it swaps over to the 441C-M. After seeing it on the 441 I wish I had the 28". I know some have mixed feelings of the 441C-M stock based on power/weight. I do still crave something bigger, but that's just CAD I think.

Be efficient. Get it ported. Starts a whole new chapter to your CAD. My 441C-M has worn 28" of full comp RS since day 1. No issues whatsoever. Stock it ran it well, now it runs it effortlessly. Like a one-ton pulling a jetski.
Just make sure the oiler is turned up for max flow.. If you're running "off the roll" RS chain, it should be just fine... Edit: OK.. MM beat me to it... I'm slow....
If you like it now? Then you'll love it when it comes back from Cottle Lane I wasn't a huge fan of the 441 stock. I never even did a Muff mod. Heck, it was on its 1st tank when I sent it Now it's a beast. As for the 28" bar.. It will do fine. As noted above, crank the oiler.
Mine picked up a bit after the first three or four tanks and was probably on tank 10-11 when I sent it for attitude adjustment. Very slow break in on that one, not like the 261 which exploded after the first five tanks.
Yeah.. My 362 was a good runner after a few tanks.. The 441 had about 4-5 more tanks on it before the GTG.. I was a cookie cutting monster for the 2 weeks up to the G2G. All told, even my 460 still has under 10 tanks still.
I have saws that havent finished their first tank. And a 3120xp that has never had fuel other than the 30 seconds Terry Landrum ran it in his listing video. Fall cant get here soon enough. By the time Im done with work and chores- Im too fatigued with heat exhaustion to fool with modified saws.
