Today I took my environmental science students on an ecosystem field walk lab where we went into the woods via some running trails on school property. A number of years back, maintenance had cut some dead trees along the trails to reduce the threat of fall debris. I never really looked closely at the stumps until today....yikes!
Butchery! We have a couple of dandies here too. My favorite is when a Mexican crew was here putting up a barn. I gave permission for one of them to cut some brush and a couple small trees. Wow.was about all I could say when I saw the evidence.
Since you were on a school field trip, it is only fitting we grade like teachers in school would grade. I give it an F.
