    Nice truck Woodwhore

A dump trailer is the best way to haul wood.

Congrats on the truck! You'll soon wonder how you got by with a half ton all these years.

I'm no authority, but I would say you got the right truck. Agree with the trailer idea. Best way to carry the wood. You have the truck able to handle it. I also like black. I have a pass for unlimited car washes. I really miss my truck. No longer able to climb up into one easily. You going to put a plow on it?

I am a Ford truck lover but that looks like a sweet ride.

I have to share a little story you made think of. I have a body shop I visit for work and one of the techs is a Ford truck lover as well. His 20 something son told him he was looking at the new Dodge trucks. He told him when he comes for Sunday dinner he would have to park down on the road and walk up the lane to the house....

Very nice truck. Glad you got something big enough to hold the family. This is what you need to pull behind it... 0604202036_HDR.jpg 0110201624a.jpg We like to help a brother out...:whistle:

Had a dodge 3500 a few years ago, 12 valve, dually. Put a 2" oak bed on her after removing the utility body. 9x9 bed held a cord. Just got a 1500 last fall, daily driver (40 miles to the railroad). Bed doesnt hold as much as I wish due to suspension....so yup donthe trailer bit. But when the bed gets dinged enough....or rusted, off it will come and on with another wood bed. I never worried about denting or wrecking anything with that oak bed! Enjoy!!

Nice truck! My next is going to be a 2500-3500 Ram crew cab long bed. Gotta get mama a new car and an addition on the house first!
