You guys are on the other side of the country, but here in Oregon the utility companies will cut power and take the lines down for free. As long as you give them a few days notice. And yes delivering logs to residential locations is a skill position. Unloading accurately close to buildings, cars, fences, septic tanks, and meebe overhead lines isn't for everybody.
Woodwhore im working on a lead. 600$ for a grapple all straight hardwood 20” or less diameter. I’ll keep you posted.
So this guys truck takes 16 foot logs. Here is his lot. He did say he wouldn’t put any big chunks in the load. I’ll guess it would end up right around 6 cord. Most all his inventory is yard trees. I’m pretty tempted to pull the trigger. I’d rather get the wood from Shawn but I’m thinking by the time he gets back in the swing of things there may be snow complicating things. A load from this guy would defiantly get me to the 3 year plan. And I won’t get held up by the snow then posted roads. If it doesn’t get cut, split and stacked it’s because I didn’t do it not because I was waiting on a delivery.
