Last Friday afternoon it snowed down here, and for us Aussie’s snow is a very rare thing.

Yesterday and today it was beautiful spring weather at 76 degrees Fahrenheit.

I thought today that I should take a couple of pictures for comparison.

Tomorrow is forecast to be 76F again with 1/2” to 1” of rain rolling in in the evening.
Glad it dried up enough to mow the grass today.

I didn’t bother lighting the fire last night or tonight, it’s still quite comfortable inside at the moment, 9pm AEST.

Mowing in short sleeves a week after a snowfall would be weird.

I love the pictures of the little houses in the woods. How cold does your winter get? Probably more like ours. Just hovering above freezing.

Yes Woodwidow that sounds about right and it usually only drops below freezing at night. Last Friday was a weird one for sure.

Nice that you are now in Spring and warming, but soon you will probably be roasting again while we are fine tuning our stoves.

Chazsbetterhalf if you are referring to the small shrubs with the stakes and plastic guards, they are eucalyptus trees, planted for a wind break / privacy screen. There are three rows of them with only the front row visable in the picture. There are also some oak trees that were planted earlier this year.
