    I read that it takes several years for a tree to show signs of infestation and therein lies the problem of when to start treating.

    Too early you waste $$$.
    Too late your tree dies.

    This is very sad. I also read they were releasing wasps that hunt down the EAB out don't sting humans. Need to look that up and see how that's going.
