I use a Warm Morning cabinet stove to heat part of our home in the fall when we are cooler but don't need to fire up the OWB.
I've been wondering about the stove top fans as a way to circulate the heat better.
What brands are good quality without spending a lot of money since that's not our primary heat source?
    Thanks.

I just bought this $30 heat-powered fan today. Originally bought one in 2017 for a co-worker and got nothing but good reviews; he uses it on his pellet stove.

    3 blade fan on amazon

I run 2 of those Tomersuns. They do circulate some heat, great for shoulder season and I don't need to run the blower.

I'd have to have some "expert" help for that. It's basically a box-like wood stove with a finished sheet metal cabinet surrounding it.Holes in the top give a screen look to that and the front has a similar grille. Larger in size than a Wonderwood but simailar in design.

Are you going to spring the $$ for an eco fan? Or are you considering adding a blower or fan? Enquiring minds want to know

Usually, those can burn coal very well. Bituminous or anthracite.

just invite over a pair of politicians from opposite sides- with all that hot air they spew it should warm the place up nicely.

Thinking seriously of ordering a stove top fan.No electricity should the power go out.We don't use the inside stove a lot just in this" in between" weather or a bitter cold if the OWB can't quite keep up.

Thanks wildwest ! Glad to be around, just trying to read and get caught up on how things go; learning more about my Atlanta Stove Works Woodsman wood stove and how it operates.

JW IN VA I recommend getting one for the sole reason you put in your comment, heat powered means it works when the stove is on. To add further, the initial one I ordered came in and it's working like a dream. As such, I'm ordering a second one to put on the same stove... One to blow towards the stairs and one to circulate the basement.
