JimBear You're making my mouth water. Never get osage although my best friend does have a few live trees around. Maybe someday we will take one down.
    Nice loads.

Here's a load of honey locust on my side by side. I split it where it falls and then haul it in and stack in on the porch until the porch gets full.

Got 6 of these today. Went back for the last 6 but someone was already in line for them. Nice guy and he offered me one but declined due to the fact I already got the 6. Location said they empty about 2 a month so think I will keep in touch with him. Gave the forklift driver a $2o for loading for me.

That's about a 1/2 of a rick on the side by side. Two full loads usually stacks up to be about a rick of wood. We use the rick measurement instead of the cord. It might be Black Locust, I thought it was but was told by someone else it was Honey Locust.

loaded up two cords to deliver tomorrow. Have four more cords ready to go, then back to cutting when the fire hazard is lower.

Stumbled across a Slippery Elm today at one of my folks farms, I don’t normally drive by there but thought I would cruise by & look things over. I thought it was an American Elm from the road.

Hotter than I thought it was gonna be, probably around 85* but was in the shade so not bad. Lots more in there to get, but wasn’t geared up for it, I’m down one rig, company pickup is in the shop so using my firewood pickup for work. Couldn’t grab a full load of the bigger stuff and get it cssed. I need to get back ASAP, the score is right on the edge of town and other people have cut in there before. It could be gone before I get back :jaw:
