Screenshot_20200923-163154_eBay.jpg So I was thinking about bidding on this siren but the owner has zero interest in helping me. I thought I'd toss this out for any ideas. Probably should put it out of my mind but you never know.
Thanks for not laughing at me......

I don't think I'd fit in a prius if my life depended on it.

I sort of have a soft spot for mechanical sirens. And honestly most any vintage mechanical this or that.

Have him cover it with postage stamps and leave it in his mailbox

Haha, no. A pole or roof mount probably but it's so small that it could go almost anywhere.

Not holding out much hope Dennis. Thought I'd post it here for suggestions because I'm out of ideas myself. If the seller would just take it apart I'm sure it could go ups in a couple of boxes.

I never could understand people when it comes to selling something. No cooperation, something they dug out of trash and don't even bother to clean it, sometimes just plain junk, etc.

I am heading to Elkins, WV next Thursday if Hedgesville is within less than say 90 miles each way I could maybe get it to Cleveland for you...Would be willing to meet somewhere in Michigan for a transfer.
Wife would most likely be pizzed if I took more than 3 hours out of our vacation to pick up a siren!

Oh man what an offer !! It looks to be way too far though. Talk about tickling the dragons tail !! Dipping into the vacation with the Mrs is surely a thin ice subject. The fact that you offered is greatly appreciated, thanks for that.

Just searched the distance...looks like a 3 hour 20 minute ride each way plus loading time etc. Sorry, that is a little more time than I can give.

But it would look way cool cruising back to CLE in my Prius with that thing strapped to the roof (especially cool if I could hook it to the battery and use it) LOL

Probably can pull that off, the prius does run on AC. I even have a red flashing light to go with it. Get you through traffic quicker.
