Woodwidow Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life. Glad you made it thru your last day of work. It may take you awhile to get used to not getting up at a certain time and going to work, but that will pass

 

That is quite the project. It would be cool to see if it stayed on while the car was moving. I have projects in mind but not that big. Thanks for the best wishes.

 

Well, I live with a person who usually gets up early. First thing in the morning is a good time to get our walks in. It will be nice not to have to live by the alarm clock in the morning except for certain appt. Monday morning will be an early rise as we have appts. down island.

Good morning everyone! 2nd morning with a fire, the cat has figured it out.
Today I'll have my grandson up. We'll hit a playground, and watch Gremlins 2, which I found in the bargain bin at Walmart. He really liked Gremlins 1.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. We are leaving Wilkesboro, NC this morning, driving down to see a FHC member on the way home.
We enjoyed spending the day with Brandon yesterday, they have a small farm, with goats, chickens, a few pigs and ducks, 1 cow and a few donkeys. We went over to his friends house and helped him split wood. He had 2 loads sold and got more on his trailer. He still has more to get over there, but we left early, he got a chance to run both saws. He said he will be getting a 461...lol... Hope he will get signed up on FHC.

Morning all. We got rain yesterday to wash the last of the smoke out of the air. this morning it is foggy. Our oldest daughter is here on a quick visit to Mom's yesterday and us this morning before leaving for home. Haven't seen her since Christmas.

Good morning. Got an early start on canning. Put up 10 pints of spicy green tomato relish which I just sampled on a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. It came out real good.

 

Good afternoon all. Got up to 33* burrr.
About 55* now with clear blue skies. Went and got a couple bags of potting soil.

My godson is very happy with yesterday's efforts.


All dead wood, most of it was off the ground. I cut it into 4-5 foot lengths. He did the heavy lifting of pulling the cuts out of the woods, where I cut it into campfire sized pieces. He's got some splitting to do, but more than enough to have many campfires with friends.

No real plans for today. So, things will reveal themselves as the day progresses.
