I’ve stopped commenting on risky tractor usage on here, like towing from above the drawbar, but it is still a good idea for all of us to keep the risks in mind as we go about our tasks. That just hit the news today. That’s the most you will hear. Media is preoccupied by other stuff. No idea if it was a farmall c or a much more capable unit with a farmi winch or how it happened. Sad either way you look at it.
There is another write up with more details on finding him, but no more on the accident itself, and I can’t find that link again (was hoping one of you guys closer would eventually hear and share how it happened). I get a magazine that has a safety section with stories that sometimes make me cringe because I’ve gotten away with similar things. It helps me to carry these stories with me as I head out to work.
His sister (I think) found him when he didn’t go home. He was working alone but someone knew where. There’s really nothing on he news, like I said media is preoccupied and this poor guy is just not important. Only reason he made the news at all is he was a town councilor.
