There’s nothing better than having a few hours alone with the wood pile and adding to the shed. No matter what tools are utilized (splitter or fiskars) it just feels good to devote some time to splitting.

I really enjoy hand splitting October - April. I can split an hour or so at a time when I feel like it. Going to keep doing it this way as long as I can. Lately my son has started helping split. With him and some classic rock going it doesn’t get much better.
