Chazsbetterhalf thought she was already using the proper "tool" for that job.

JK, glad you are OK! I had a close call in jeans once. You would think that it would have made me rethink not wearing my chaps for more than a few months, but I is stupid.

    Who said she wasn't

Edit.. I'll have you know.. I'm a perfectly acceptable tool.. Err..

You're not an isolated case.. I remember a couple years back.. wearing some of my "Sunday" jeans.. you know.. the "holey" ones

Saw tip bounced off of a small branch and ever so slightly caught my knee.. looked at my BIL and said.. "This is why I wear the jeans with holes"

That one could've been much worse..
Fortunately it was only a small sliver of skin lost. I think that may be around the time Chazsbetterhalf started nagging suggesting that I purchase some chaps.

It's rained here all freaking day. Not a lot of rain in amount, but all day, no let up, no sun.

It rained here for over 24 hours and I got .95 inches of rain. Cutting more wood may have to wait until next week

You guys have me to thinking where my chaps are after we couldn’t find my Huskies a few weeks ago. Thought I had put them in the shed. That close call Chaz had has put a new light on the subject.

Just let the dog out and it’s nasty outside. 72° with 97% humidity. Can’t wait for the nicer weather. Not a fan of humidity.

Still raining on and off although I don't think we got much more than a quarter of an inch all day. The temp has gone up to 74ºF and the humidity/dew point still suckors.

The town sent the street sweeper out. I think he did each side 4 maybe 5 times. I lost count. I felt like busting his chops and going out and telling him he missed a spot, but sheesh, he didn't. The street was clean, and no brush marks.

(Not a very exciting day in the hood today)

Caffeine in. Time to run the wife and kids to school soon. Truck in garage for a few repairs and preventative maintenance. Things get interesting with only one vehicle.

Now, why you wanna go and cut up those nice chaps? Did ya just want to see if it would stop the saw or just wanted to see what the strands looked like? They have plenty of videos showing that....:whistle:

So glad you wore them, they can be replaced. Good reminder to wear them all the time. Thank GOD you are safe, brother.

Thanks again for the nice comments. We made it back home about 6:30 last night. It did take some planning to keep it a secret from her. Had to stall Wed night, she was asking g when we were going for dinner, I told her to go eat a breakfast biscuit...lol...
It was fun watching her trying to guess where we were headed, as we went down the road. We were over half way there, she finally pulled up the maps app and started looking at where we were.
