I'm in need of an upgrade as with the grapple the headlights are a joke. I see Rigid is the price leader, but are they worth it? Nephew bought unnamed Amazon ones and they are full of condensate. Seems like a lot of bull doodoo going around.
So what ya got and are you happy or not ?
As always thanks for the advice.

This is what I have had on my ATV now for 5 or so years. Gets power washed every ride and have not had any issues with it sealing.

Mine just has 3W LED's (120W total), but it's still plenty bright and will light up the pitch black night sky. You can find them with 5W or even 10W LED's now.

I like Black Oak's stuff..... BlackOakLED Lights - LED Light Bars, Mounts & Accessories

I've got these on the Kawasaki bayou. They work great. No condensation in years.

They are the same nilight brand as what I bought. They are bright.

John Deere sells Tiger lights, that’s what we replaced old original lights with on several tractors. They work great.

If you have a harbor freight near by I'd try their new series of off road led lights. Reviews appear to be good and with a coupon, when available, make the price pretty unbeatable. Especially when the lights are pre wired with actual sealed automotive connections.

Rigid lights are very nice and really expensive. If my life and safety depended on off-road and emergency lights then I would go with them or KC lights.

Auxbeam led lights had quite a following a few years back in the offroad community. Good product for a decent price.

I just got a used New Holland TN75 that needs lights replaced and I'm looking at the harbor freight lights. Some appear to have voltage regulators so they work with 12 and 24v systems.

I used some Walmart LED’s on the horse trailer and the atv. They have been on there for 3-4 years and still work good, with no condensation in them. I can’t remember the brand, but they weren’t that expensive

I am a huge fan of Rigid Industries lights, I ran a pair of dually pros in the stock fog light location on my Jeep when the company first opened up. They were used all winter in the dark, and survived being submerged dozens of times while wheeling, in 10 years of abuse they never missed a beat. I picked up 3 sets of the dually side shooter pros this spring when they had a sale, two sets will go on the 4052R, and one set on the 1025R.

Thanks guys, looks like I have a lot of looking to do.
How did you decide on the lumen rating ? Is it a more is always better thing or is there a tipping point when glare is a issue ?

It is more important to get the correct type of light as a flood light, scene light, or driving light is better suited for a tractor due to the low speed. A hyper light, or spot light will light up way too far in front of you and not be wide enough for seeing to the side of the light 10' in front of the tractor. A flood or driving light will give a nice wide pattern 100'-200' in front of the tractor that is super bright.
Mounting also makes a difference for glare, I had mounted lights facing forward where the factory lights on each side of the operator station on the 4052R but they produced too much glare off the side of hood for my liking. They are going to get placed on the inside of the rops bar facing forward.
Lumens are also important, more is better as far as I am concerned.

I bought the cheap LED's from Amazon a few years ago. Something like $17 for the pair. They are are still dry inside.

I bought an "ecco" (a USA co that makes hd truck equipment) led light. I was skeptical about LEDs where I had been using Hela halogen for work lights.
Long story short, I bought an 8 pack of the same 48w on Ebay, they were 98% identical in appearance, side by side in the dark shop had the same beam and brightness and the 8 pack $$ was equal to 3 of the USA lights (also made it China). I returned the Ecco lights and installed 4 of my cheap eBay lights, that was about 6 years ago and I do have one lens that is sorta burnt, more like fogged. Much better than I expected, that's why I bought 8. 20200920_142435.jpg

I bought these and mounted them on a magnet for my tractor so I could remove be them easy. I only use them when plowing snow. They have served their purpose with no problems DF4668CE-DD31-4D14-8A6C-00CC150112CC.png C217FA92-0F47-421D-B30A-7E80459E8DB9.png
