I went out today and rearranged some stacks in the backyard..A little rotating if you will...I just love the steady 15-20mph cool wind the last few days here in WNY....Helps the drying process...
Yesterday in northern wisconsin we had 30 to 40 MPH wind all day long. Worked nice for finishing drying off the hay I had down so I could roll it up yesterday. Finished it off today in small squares.
Tomorrow another day like today on tap for us here...I know some may think I'm nuts...but I plan of firing up the splitter around 8-8:30am and splitting another 2 face cords of kindling for 2021/22 season.....This way it drys outside real fast and all I have to do is move it in the garage for the next season.......Man...Its great to be so ahead!!...
I had to do the employment thing today.. but I've got all next week off to work the stacks. I hope the temps remain low.
Did 1 face cord of kindling for 2021/22 season...Ash and a variety of Pine. Yellow, Red, Scotch and Evergreen. Plan on doing another face cord tomorrow and or Monday...Rotating for Next season will be so easy now...
