    I really like the improvements that @Grizzly Adam has been busting his azz on the last couple days. Forums look great, email is up and humming, and we are well on our way to being ready for the 2014-15 heating season. Just wanted to say thanks again Adam!

    620+ members and counting - in less than a year. That's phenomenal! We as staff couldn't be more pleased with the quality of our member base and the content that is being shared here on FHC.com. You all are the heart and soul of FHC and without you this would be just another webpage. Here it is July and we're talking chainsaws and firewood on a daily basis! Not to mention the Smokehouse crowd with the beer and food. (Now I gone and dunnit....)

    Definitely a bright future ahead of FHC for sure!

    Well, when a forum is started by a great guy like Scotty it is guaranteed to be a success and then there's the Mods! I was used to Mods who chastised members if they weren't in the "in crowd" or if God forbid you spelled a word wrong.(or mentioned God). The Mods here are great!

    I love the new logo!

    As has been said many times before, everyone here makes the place what it is....a fantastic community! And when the politics are kept out, seems like it's all the more friendly here. My hats off to all of you who keep it that way. And yes Adam has been a MACHINE.....grabbing the bull by the horns and really working hard at getting the ripples smoothed out. He pours his heart and soul into every facet of this place, without a doubt.

    Part of me wants to see this place take off like wildfire, but the other part likes the small tight-knit community we have here.

    I agree lukem. I think, from the very get-go, what we really wanted to see was a small, sincere group of people. .....which is exactly what we have. It was never really about the quantity, but more-so the QUALITY of users. And we've got the best.....

    I'm ok with seeing our forum grow, but I don't want the quality of our user base to suffer. This place isn't about making money, it's about having a knowledgeable family-like community. So far, so good.

    I think this might be the first thread where I've liked the first post, and every response.
    Gotta' give kudos to Scotty and the mods for all the behind the scene stuff they do. Without that, we wouldn't have this place.

    Well, it has been great being here. I think I check this website more than Facebook now. The pictures have really added to my knowledge of what different parts of the country looks like and feels like throughout the seasons. There is a lot of energy projected from this site that sometimes is just exhausting to read about but I find that it has challenged me as well especially in the Smokehouse.

    It's like having another big family to be connected with.

    Keep up the good work.
