    Thanks, I agree. They were originally a dark walnut color which in the right surroundings would’ve looked great. In the basement though it just looked like a dungeon. I recently wired up new LED lights down there too which really changed the whole feel of the space.

    Thank you. I had no idea what I was going to use the lumber for at the time I grabbed it, but I’m glad now that I did grab it! Home Depot’s shelves have been getting cleaned out a lot lately with everyone doing home improvement.
