Checked radar before I left home this morning thinking I would get 3-4 hours in and then out of nowhere this popped up.

Same. Thinking I’ll go up to the barn and give the saws a cleaning and sharpen chains.

I had plans to make my processing area bigger involving downing 4-5 12” trees and bucking some logs, but alas it’s raining here too.

We had a lot of rain the last 2 days here in Wisconsin. Last night was a constant thunder rumble after about 7pm. It all goes East.

Generally yes. I will work in a steady rain depending on what needs getting done and my mood but I don’t care much for it

Same thing happened here. Even at night. Went to bed with no threat of storms. Wrong...

But it is nice and cool today!

Popup thunderstorms are difficult to predict. Usually a forecast considers the possibility of them forming.

We got rained out today too. Plenty to do inside. A little yard work and processing would have been nice.

Same thing here in PA. Almost 1". Was going to cut wood at camp to start filling the new (and empty) wood rack. I'll take the rain though, been very dry here last 6 weeks, and good check of wood rack roof to make sure no leaks.

Yep. And I got the lawn mowed before last night's rumble-thon led to rain. I mow while listening to music with earbuds. The last few minutes there was extra bass that wasn't supposed to be there.:dex:

Adams county PA was decent today. Just very light pop up sprinkles. Not enough to stop me! A break in temps is an opportunity I cannot miss.
