I gave in and had to purchase some Douglas fir logs. Four loads for 8 cord. Time to feed the saws! I made a cutting table, ground level, out of three 2x6 x 12’ boards. I can set up four 12’ long logs, MingoMarker them at 16”, buck them and then hand truck to the side. I am tearing through it. The logs have been down since spring 2019 and are darn near ready to burn when split. I really enjoy making firewood. So when everything is messed up, go make yourself some.
Stage 3 complete. Really quick to just run these sizes through the six way splitter. It’s why buying these logs was worth it.
