Wildwood Falls is a great swimming place we went to while growing up, and Heceta Head Lighthouse on the coast.

    Nice !
I've done Rt 1 from the Mexican border north to near Fort Bragg where it meeets 101. Then back down to Santa Rosa to visit friends.
I've rented a car in Astoria and done like 30 miles south on 101 to someplace just south of Cannon Beach for a quick day trip but that's not much of the balance from where we left of near Fort Bragg all the way up to Seattle. Some day.
Columbia river exploring is on my bucket list too .

Oh man. We go to Oakridge Oregon every year for a week and camp on the willamette river. Lane county is just beautiful. I have gone to Astoria and down 101, we cut back over at eureka/arcata.

Nice videos! If you get a chance explore salt creek, salmon creek, and north fork of the middle fork of the willamette river out of westfir. 04D72FC4-BDDA-4DE7-994E-9BB121672F39.jpeg

That's some great country out there. I think you just missed Dungeness crab season though.
