Where Was the First McDonald's in Michigan?

I remember back in 1957 riding with someone and going through Lansing. We stopped at this new drive-in to try their burgers. Back then one could find burgers and hot dogs for .15 or less. It was common to find hot dogs at 6 for $1.00

I also remember later the had this sing stating over 100,000 burgers sold. Of course that kept raising for years until the figure got so high people couldn't understand a figure that high unless you were a politician.

Right where I want to be.
I worked at a McD's while still in high school that still had those arches. The building was a bit different than the pic though.
Burger, fries, and a Coke will run ya' a bit more than that nowadays. :)

I haven’t eaten McD’s beef in over 20 years. After hearing it wasn’t American, I stopped ordering it. I’ll occasionally eat breakfast there but that’s about it.

Backwoods Savage How'd it taste back then? Did it have that uniform mass-produced flavor or was it decent?

I can believe it. It's amazing how they built a worldwide fast food empire on terrible food...
