The home Depot I go to, shows some in stock. Not the best of price, but I think I'll head there this morning. I got some gift cards recently.
The TSC in Ashtabula, Ohio had it a few weeks ago. I think it was the 2 for $12 (maybe 10). I ordered 4 gallons for curbside pickup, should be good for a bit.
NAPA has Chain and Bar Oil. White gallon jug, $12.99 here, part number 1424 of anyone really needs it.
For the SoVT and SoNH folks: Walmart in Hinsdale NH has bar oil; just got back and grabbed a gallon whilst there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
After I ran out of Itasca I bought some last fall from the NAPA that my friend runs, I also got some winter weight too it was .$23 gallon more. Regular on the left , winter on the right. The part/stock number is in the upper rh corner of the blue sticker. It wasn’t too long after that I went into Menards & saw the FVP sale for $4.99 after the rebate. I called Menards customer support & inquired if the FVP oil I bought was summer or winter & they said it was all season. I can say the NAPA is tackier than the FVP but at twice the price I don’t believe it’s worth it. NAPA winter weight is $3-$4 gallon less than the Stihl winter weight around here.
The TSC we frequent had quarts and gals. of both house brand and Husky a few week ago. Went to get a few gals. on Thurs. and all they had were house brand and Husky quarts. Lowes has quarts and gals. of house brand and Husky. Runnings has quarts and gals. of house brand, Husky and Stihl. NYH1.
I did a quick bar oil comparison out of curiosity today. Stihl $12.50 per gallon vs. Menard's house brand (FVP) at $6.50 per gallon. I suppose by adding a can of STP, the price will be close.
My wife was passing by Tractor Supply today so she swung in and to her shock they had 4 gallons of County Line bar oil. You can bet she grabbed all 4 of them which totaled $25!
Surprised you dont buy a barrel of it Joe. She lucked out as i was told they are only bringing a case of four or six gallons in at a time at my TSC
I was in the neighborhood and stopped by the other local TSC and no bar oil at all! WTH! Asked and young girl cashier said they will get more in come the busy season?
