Yes, contacted them, but I hate bugging people as I bug myself constantly and it sucks. Woodstock website is not updated daily but this site is updated daily by members.

Unless you are constantly calling, you are not bugging.

They are working on the installation instructions and then it will be available. Soon. I haven’t seen it, but my wife saw an early version. My hope/expectation is it will bring the graduated air control of the later stoves. On the IS and AS, as you close down the air supply the initial control rod movement shuts off a lot of air. Then, as you get closer to fully closed, the same amount of control rod movement is shutting off maybe a 10th as much, giving you 10 times more precision in selecting the final spot. If it is remotely as good as the AS and IS and you have a strong draft this will be a must-have upgrade, based on my experience of burning all three stoves on the same flue.

I just hope I can install it without moving it!

She said it wasn’t as simple as unbolting and rebolting, which is why they want good quality instructions to accompany them out the door. She entered me as a backorder for it, so I hope to hear from them as soon as it is ready.

I will be wedged back in the fireplace as I change mine over.
