About ready to go pick some corn for dinner. Need to get that done before the heat kicks in.

Bought 2 dozen ears from a neighbor the other day...the white was really good, sweet and tender...the yellow however was a little too mature...still good, just not as tender.

I sure could use one. I know that. Either that or the DR field and brush mower that some dude adapted with a gravely mount to the front of his ariens GT. Dang it, I didn't take a screenshot of that.

Same here. GM full size trucks of that time around here are all rotted away.

That looks like a nice one. What engine? 6.0?

Moved some 2 year wood closer to the house and stacked some of the 1 year seasoned I got delivered the other day. It was cooler yesterday so we didn’t do any stacking today. We’re getting back to summer heat for a while. High 80s to 90° through Tuesday. Right now it’s still 88° at 5:30.

this is a YouTube video I made. I have had that thing In the shop numerous times. Carb is complex with vacuum lines. It is a great machine for mowing fence lines, wood trails, and steep areas.
The mechanic reminded me to shut of the fuel and run the carb dry.
I have the rough cut and finish mower for it. There are other attachments, but very rare to get.

You've got the rough cut mower, that's the one that's really useful. The rest, yeah are handy, but aside from the post home digger, all the rest of the attachments are really done easier and less costly by other machines. You can buy an old tiller for 50-75 bucks for the once a year it's used. An old riding mower can do the finish mowing easier since they mount the mower in the middle and less chance of ripping up the lawn. But that rough cut mower... The next best/ cheapest solution is a used pull behind rough cut mower if you can find one. New those are $1600+

Had to go the better half’s dad house and get a widow maker down.. so I got to play throw a bean bag... took me about 15 throws to get it just right... about a 40 foot high... a big limb under was the deal breaker a few times, couldn’t get the bean bag to drop on the front side of it...
