    Sorry to hear. That is one of my biggest fears when doing firewood. If I get hurt away from my job, I am screwed financially for awhile. Prayers for you for a speedy recovery.

    That will dampen deer season for sure. Sorry to read about your adventure, but glad to see you survived. Hope it heals well and you are out and about soon. Don't forget, real tattoos are scars!!

    Rest up.... Had the same injury 3 years ago, healed up well, take it easy for awhile..... Now it feels stronger then ever with added hardware in there!

    OUCH! Sorry to hear this, a friend of mine, a Timber faller by trade had the exact same thing happen to him. I ended up taking him to the hospital for the same surgery, by the way he recovered completely and was able to go back to work after it all healed up. Be patient, and hang in there, better day's ahead.
