Cut down a tree last weekend and was blocking it up,another tree dropped a branch about 5" diameter and it landed across my shoulder. Shattered my clavicle and tore Screenshot_2020-08-21-18-47-01-1.png the tendons in my shoulder, ouch. Been patched together now but will be out of action for some weeks.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about it.

Looks like your left shoulder. I hope you're right handed.

I’m so sorry! Shoulder problems can be very painful. I hope you heal up fast and can get full use of your shoulder. Just another reason to be far ahead on your wood collecting.

That's right, I had my hard hat on but glad it got the shoulder and not my head.

Dr says he may be able to take the plate out when the bone heals up. Start some physio for my shoulder next week.

It really helped w/pain management and healing.

I hope you heal quick brother. Some ppl don't mind keeping their plate. I had a plate in my arm for a few years. Getting it taken out was the best thing I ever did.

You are lucky it wasn't worse. Cutting down trees may look simple, but it isn't as you well know. I wish you a speedy recovery. Hope your pain in well managed.

Ouch Mark. I'm betting not only did that hurt but was a bit scary too. Here's hoping you have a fast healing without much discomfort. Good for you too that Spring is close.
