I have a Nice Bow Bar I got from another member here about a month ago. I thought it was a Stihl 12 mm, but it turns out to be an 8 mm slot. I am in need of a nice (new looking) 25" or 28" Bar in a 12 mm Stihl mount. Prefer a Light bar, but doesn't really matter. This bow bar has all the guards and spur on it. Has a little rust spot on the front, but it's just from storage. Rails still have factory paint on them and all stickers are present I would be open to cash offers, but I would rather trade for a 25"/28" to go on a 460 I recently acquired
Keep in mind that some bow bar/saw combinations require that you grind away some of the clutch cover and the saw case to get them fit up correctly.
Yes Fuzz, a while back I got a pristine 272XP in with a nice Husqvarna marked bow bar on it. Only to find out that someone had hacked away at the top of the clutch cover and the case just above the bar mount area in order to fit the bow. Made a mess of it! I was not very happy!
With this being a clearing bow there should not be any clutch cover interference, especially if the bow is mounted facing down.
I think if you look, they are drilled the same top and bottom so the guards and foot can be swapped. I can look at mine tonight to confirm.
