Door bell rings, kids yell “DAD somebodys here!! Its the guy down the road and he is a ghost white, sweaty nervous wreck, hi Chris “ I made a mistake “!! i already know its a tree. So he said he got tired if looking at the dead tree across the street and decided to cut it down. He got it hung up and decided to come get me before he kills himself. I get there, terrible notch, come along on it 4 ft up the trunk trying to yank it over. Now i know how people get killed and i cant believe the huge balls he had to try and cut this rt on the main rd also not on his property. Im always nervous cutting along a main rd. I got it down in a minute with another notch and back cut. He tried to pay me but this is the guy that just gave me a grapple load plus of hardwood, i said no way, im glad i could return a favor but next time come get me before you roll the dice.

So who owns the tree? Is it a neighbor or the town?

Hopefully you don't get blamed. It may be worth telling the owner what happened if you know him.

I think the most important thing is that you go back and get your phone... wouldn’t want to leave it there too long... :picard:

I really have no idea, i just dont know how you do that. I like everyone on here i think would never even think of doing this. The tree was big too, i mean i could see something small maybe, a little hazard sticking out in the road but im talking much thicker than a telephone pole.
