I'd want to keep her that way too. Almost an antique, as crazy as the thought seems of a 1997

Very popular and durable engine, stick, and simple. Clean as well.

Prices of older diesels in good shape are after getting ridiculous. Seen 7.3s and Cummins rams of a similar age going for way more. Sometimes as much as a brand new truck or close to it. Crazy.

The epa squeezed the reliability out of the Diesel engine. In this case older technology is better.

That makes sense, our old F250 that now belongs to the company is well liked by everybody.

those 9th Gen fords are nice trucks too. Some of the real clean gas jobs are going for high dollar too
I guess like most classic items, when you can't buy it new anymore, the value goes up with time

    Nice :) love horses

Edit.. Big horse or short people?
Perhaps just an issue of distance.

My wife tried a new crockpot pulled pork recipe. It brined overnight, with a few more goodies than the traditional salt, water, and brown sugar brine. Bay leaves, pepper corns, onion, garlic, fresh rosemary.
Then, cooked it in the crock pot for 6 hrs on high with the onion from the brine, some red wine ~1 cup. It is amazing.

We had loaded nachos with it tonight, and planned overs will be BBQ pulled pork sammiches and the next time maybe tacos.

I'm assuming the horse is 16 hands.

And good on you for selective sharing.

As to the badger neighbors. just hope they're not honey badgers.. I've heard they don't give a chit.

Finally got some rain. About a half inch.
Also cooler (76ºF) so ran 1.5 miles of my 3.47 mile circuit.
Perfect timing on the rain ending, had a sunset and half a rainbow.
