I have been looking for a 650 for some time and found this one in Oregon. The seller did not have PayPal and I was a little leery of sending a money order as the last time I did that I never heard from the seller again.

The bar was shipped separately so I hope it arrives in the next day or two. Here are a couple of pictures, this should compliment my 550 and 1050 well.

Very nice. Great old saws. I picked up a 550 a few months back. Local CL deal from the original owner. Even got the original receipt.

Nice sample! Is it a Homelite thing that the fuel/ bar oil need to be in such a difficult spot to fill up?

The large P series Pioneers with chain brakes are just as bad (probably worse due to both the front handlebar and brake flag).

Adding bar oil to my 1050 is always messy. Small fill cap and a weird angle.

Judging by the 'custom' clutch cover, he must've used the saw for noodling. Whenever you get your 750, swap the carbs. The S-650 has a bigger Walbro WB than the 750 for some damm reason...

I think its an old saw thing to have such hard to fill holes? Macs have a crazy fill spot too?

Some of those old saws have the oil fill plug as the same as your old push mower, the kind where you put a screwdriver in it horizontal to loosen it , the darn fill hole is like 3/4" around!!

Aaron, you seen any of my other "new" Homies? I picked up 2 8800's, another 8800 rebadged as a JD CS 550, a 1050, a 925, a blue EZ ...

Should be a Mac 850 in the mail today and getting ready to grab a 5-10 ES.

That's how my 1050 is. Can't see in the oil reservoir so the only way you know it's full is when it runs out around the funnel. Near freaks worst nightmare. Gonna have to get me a little squeeze bottle for bar oil again.

I saw the blue E-Z in another thread. You got some more 8800's (including a yeller JD one) eh? No wonder you're selling saws to make room.:D

I ran an 8800 and a 540 at the PNW GTG again this year. Strong saws.

Thank you sir. My internet time has been lessened as of late. Decided to get caught up here a bit.
